Two great parishes have teamed up to bring you a High School Youth Ministry Program that strives to inspire teens with a love for their Catholic Faith, to deepen their relationship with God, and to build lasting friendships in Christ. Every Sunday Night teens and a committed adult ministry team gather in the John Paul II Youth Center, located in the lower level of St. Francis Xavier School, off of Howard Street in Petoskey, for a faith-filled, fun, and inspiring evening focused on varying aspects of living our Catholic Faith. “Dead Theologian's Society" New to our High School Youth Ministry program is DTS! The Dead Theologians Society meets on Tuesday Nights after the 5:30pm Mass at St. Francis Xavier Parish. It is an excellent program that combines the teachings of the Saints and timeless treasures of the Church to help lead young people into a deeper relationship with Christ. Teens are invited for food and social time from 6:10pm-6:30pm and then for the meeting from 6:30-8:00pm. Don’t miss it! For more information about this exciting new program visit www.deadtheologianssociety.com. The name of our youth center, the John Paul II Youth Center, is in honor of a great man and beloved, deceased Pope, chosen by God to inspire millions of young people throughout the world. All teens, grades 9-12, are invited to join High School Youth Group and be a part of an ever-increasing number of young people who have embraced the call to live their Catholic Faith!
