Two great parishes have teamed up to bring you a High School Youth Ministry Program that strives to inspire teens with a love for their Catholic Faith, to deepen their relationship with God, and to build lasting friendships in Christ. Every Sunday Night teens and a committed adult ministry team gather in the John Paul II Youth Center, located in the lower level of St. Francis Xavier School, off of Howard Street in Petoskey, for a faith-filled, fun, and inspiring evening focused on varying aspects of living our Catholic Faith. “Pizza & Apologetics” is also offered every Tuesday Night after the 5:30pm Mass in the John Paul II Youth Center. Teens have the opportunity to dive even deeper into teachings of the Church (and free pizza!) and learn how to give a charitable and knowledgeable response to questions about certain practices and beliefs of Catholics. The name of our youth center, the John Paul II Youth Center, is in honor of a great man and beloved, deceased Pope, chosen by God to inspire millions of young people throughout the world. All teens, grades 9-12, are invited to join High School Youth Group and be a part of an ever-increasing number of young people who have embraced the call to live their Catholic Faith!
